Twelve years across PwC Nigeria and PwC UK, working across consulting, strategy, risk, governance, sustainability and assurance. My career has taken me from understanding how organisations manage risk and make decisions, through sustainability strategy and reporting, to testing the information organisations ultimately put into the public domain. I am interested in the connections between those things: how strategy becomes action, how information becomes evidence, and how organisations can stand behind what they say.

Sustainability became a major part of my consulting work from 2016, spanning reporting, strategy, materiality, ESG frameworks and sustainability information across private and public sector organisations.
At PwC UK, I spent four years providing limited assurance over selected sustainability and ESG information reported by listed companies, including organisations with complex international operations.
My consulting work has also involved helping organisations engage stakeholders, shape responses to complex issues and develop advisory opportunities.
I began in Lagos in 2013 in consulting across enterprise risk, governance and organisational effectiveness, including board effectiveness reviews, risk frameworks and capital adequacy work for financial institutions. From 2016 sustainability moved to the centre of my work. I was part of the team that established the Sustainability and Climate Change practice at PwC Nigeria, and went on to lead a team of ten delivering reporting, strategy, materiality, stakeholder engagement and assurance for clients across financial services, manufacturing and consumer business, development finance and government.
In 2021 I moved to London and to the other side of the table. At PwC UK I spent four years providing limited assurance over the sustainability and ESG information reported by listed companies, including groups with complex international operations. The questions change on that side. Where did the data come from, was the methodology sound, were the boundaries right, what evidence supports the number, and what controls sit behind it.
I am now based in Riyadh, and I bring both perspectives to the work: an understanding of the organisations that produce sustainability information, and an assurance view of what has to sit underneath it.

In 2025 I moved my family from London to Riyadh and took deliberate time to settle us into a new country. The change has given me room to work on an early stage project of my own and to think carefully about where I take my career next. I have also kept investing in the wider business perspective, with recent study in strategy execution and in accounting and finance at the Smith School of Business.

Limited assurance over sustainability and ESG information reported by FTSE 100, 250 and 350 companies with operations worldwide. I tested emissions methodologies, reporting boundaries and activity data, evaluated climate disclosures including scenario analysis, and identified reporting risks and control weaknesses in the systems producing the numbers. The work also covered the wider front half of the annual report, including diversity and remuneration disclosure.

Part of the team that established the Sustainability and Climate Change practice, later leading a team of ten across reporting, assurance, strategy, materiality and stakeholder engagement. Clients ranged from banks and industrial groups to development finance institutions and state government.

Board effectiveness reviews for financial institutions and energy companies against several governance codes, enterprise risk management frameworks covering strategic, operational, credit, market, liquidity, regulatory and reputational risk, and capital adequacy work. This period still shapes how I read a sustainability problem.
Riyadh is now home, but the work remains international in outlook.

Four years working across assurance of sustainability and ESG information for FTSE 100, 250 and 350 companies, examining everything from emissions data and methodologies to social and governance disclosures and the evidence behind them. Each engagement ended not with a number but with an internal management report setting out the reporting risks, the control weaknesses and what had to change before the next cycle.

Sustainability strategy, reporting, materiality and assurance for organisations at very different stages of their sustainability journey. That included a report and strategy for an industrial group prepared in accordance with the comprehensive option of the GRI Standards, a considerably higher bar than the core option most organisations choose, and a multi-country physical verification of reported water volumes for a beverage group across Nigeria, Ghana, Madagascar and Rwanda.

Project manager on the independent verification of a US$350 million development finance programme, assessing achievement against ten disbursement linked indicators across multiple ministries, departments and agencies. Related work included a stakeholder and community engagement framework for a state government, designed to make engagement continuous rather than episodic and to give both sides a shared basis for accountability.
